Dublin Animation Film Festival (DAFF)  is the only festival in Ireland that is dedicated completely to showcasing animated films. Our goal is to showcase animated films by Irish and international animators, holding industry related events and introducing the joy of animation and creativity to children and ‘beginners’ of all ages.  DAFF can be traced to a small event in Blackrock, County Dublin in August 2011 which was supported by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. The Festival has evolved from afternoon screenings in a former Methodist Church in Blackrock in 2011 to a fabulous event in the Pavilion Theatre in Dún Laoghaire.

We are now calling for entries! 2016 has been a challenging year for the arts in Ireland – yet we are fortunate to have the support of our sponsors whose support has meant that we can hold our screenings and awards ceremony in the Pavilion Theatre in Dún Laoghaire. So mark the 22nd October in your calendar!
